Fall weather is slowly approaching! That means it is time to get your skincare upto par and tuck away the summer skincare items that you have and start to prepare your skin for the Fall! With each season I make some changes to my skincare routine, as well as educating my clients on the benefits of switching it up.
After a summer of sun, minimal skincare and SPF – this is a great time to release the dead skin on the outer layer of the face and help it rebuild the collagen. When cooler months are upon us it gives us the opportunity to treat the skin and nourish it. Not to worry, I am here to help you face the brisk air that will follow the next couple of months with my fall skincare must haves!!
1. Exfoliating: Exfoliating is the key to more supple skin. I do not like anything to abrasive because then that will cause sensitivity and even some irritation. There are three products that I love when it comes to exfoliating the skin for fall:
GloPro by Beauty Bio: This is a microneedling treatment that can be done in the convenience of your own home. Its painless but packs a powerful punch at creating younger looking skin by increasing the collagen production of the skin to tightening up the pores, and help minimize fine lines and wrinkles! The other benefit is that it helps increase the skin absorption of topical skin treatments. When starting out with the GloPro you are going to want to use this 1x a week for a few weeks and then you can go onto 2x a week.
Reveal Facial System: This 2 piece facial system is amazing at removing the impurities that lay dormant on the skin because it contains ingredients such as lime and wild orange essential oil, bamboo and bentonite. As well as a pumpkin enzyme that will remove the build up of dead skin. It is extremely effective unlike other abrasive exfoliators on the market that can irritate the skin. I like to use this once a week to give my skin a quick pick me up.
Detoxifying Mud Mask: This mud mask contains essential oils such as Myrrh, Juniper Berry and Grapefruit that our powerhouses in detoxifying the skin by toning it, smoothing it and purifying it as well as the shea butter and clay that will help minimize the oils on the skin. I recommend using the detoxifying mud mask once a week and alternate around the other exfoliating products.
2. Dry Skin Brushing: This is one of the most beneficial ways to rid the body of toxins as well as getting rid of the dead skin that lays dormant on the body. Yuck! It will also stimulate the liver and help it eliminate the toxins. When it comes to skincare it is important that you fuel your liver because your skin will glow because of that.
3. Verage Skincare System: This is a 4 piece skincare set that gives your skin the anti-aging ingredients that it needs. It will cleanse and tone the skin with its key ingredients of wild orange, basil, tea tree, ylang ylang, coriander, and cypress that will invigorate the skin and leave it glowing. Its moisturizer will nourish and moisturize the skin gently. The serum is an antiaging powerhouse that I love to use part of my PM Skincare routine (coming soon) because it contains essential oils such as Franincense, Myrrh, Rose, Hawaiian Sandalwood and Helichrysum that give the skin a youthful glow but also nourishes it.
4. Rose Quartz Roller: This amazing tool will depuff, drain and tighten! I recommend using this morning and night.
There you have it my Fall Skincare Must Haves. I love alternating between the exfoliators weekly. Remember less is more when it comes to taking care of your skin. Have you tried any of the products I mentioned above?
I’ld love to hear from you.
